I have a Samsung YP-Q1 MP3 player which has various music tracks on it arranged into Albums. I want to transfer them onto my PC. If I copy them across into my ordinary Windows 'Music' folder they show as .alb files and I don't know how to open and play them. I have downloaded EmoDio but don't know how to transfer the Albums from my MP3 player into EmoDio. Can you help, please?

Yes, I can help you with transferring music files from your Samsung YP-Q1 MP3 player into EmoDio.
The EmoDio is the PC application used for Samsung MP3 players. If your player is freezing, then it must be a hardware problem or something related to firmware. You should send the device to warranty to Samsung so they can fix it, because I didn't find anything available to flash the MP3 players.
I got a Samsung YP-ROJ for Christmas. When I sync files to the device it played the files in alphabetical order and not by track number. I have been unable to find where I can configure the player to play the files in order of track number. Anyone have a solution?

As you can see on page 26 of the official user guide, the Samsung YP-ROJ device plays files using the order of special characters, numbers, and alphabets. Unfortunately, you can't change this. I suggest you contact Samsung support team for further information. You can get in touch with them using 1-800-726-7864 phone number or [email protected] email address.
I'm trying to install EmoDio on my laptop to work with my Samsung YP-R1JCB Player. When I open it, there is an EmoDio blue box that disappears after 1 second. From what it seems, the software is not installed properly. I installed the application before on a different laptop, but that laptop is not working anymore. Can you help?

In order to fix the issue, remove the software using its uninstaller or Add or Remove Programs feature (Control Panel > Uninstall a program), run a registry cleaner to make sure that there are no leftover rogue registry keys in your system and reinstall the program. If it still doesn't work, go to Samsung Support page, click the Downloads tab and download and install the latest version of EmoDio. Also, make sure your computer runs Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista. If you're using a newer Windows operating system, try running EmoDio using the Compatibility Mode.

Try uninstalling with the help of Unlocker, it is free and works fine for me.
